Honoring Mothers of Faith on Mother’s Day
On this Mother's Day, I thought it would be appropriate to honor two mothers: Lois, Timothy's grandmother, and Eunice, Timothy's mother. I'd like to pay tribute to Timothy's inheritance, which he received since his mother and grandma loved him enough to give him their most valuable possession: faith.
Jesus has Risen
Out of all the things each of us, or the world have faced, good, bad, or otherwise, nothing has had the historical, present, and future impact like the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Our Victory Is In Jesus
Today is Palm Sunday. This is the beginning of what was perhaps the busiest week in Jesus' earthly ministry. This is a day that we, as followers of Christ, look at as the beginning of a great celebration of recognizing our Risen Savior.
The World Was Changed by the Love of God.
The Good News is not just for those who are wealthy, healthy, and experiencing smooth sailing in life right now, it is Good News to All People.
The Love of God the Changed The World
The good news for us all is that Jesus Christ himself never sinned and brought forgiveness, joy, and peace into this world; he showed us exactly how much better life with Him is.
Holding Fast to Our Confession of Jesus.
Christmas is more than just a holiday. We are currently in the second week of Advent. Give God Thanks for All Mothers
Sometimes the women in people’s lives provide the motherly support and nurturing needed that only a mother can provide. And this woman is not always the one that gave birth to that person.
The Lord has Risen
A lost and dying world was in need of a savior. And here was Jesus entering the gates of Jerusalem on a donkey. The people waving palm leaves and laying their coats down to make way for their King.
The people were yelling and praising Him saying.
“Hosanna to the Son of David!
‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!’
Hosanna in the highest!”
Draw Closer to The Nativity
We sit in church distracted with life and exhausted. Many people sit with some sort of unrest whether it is what they have to get done or simply carrying on with their responsibilities.
The thing we’re looking for is peace, love, rest, hope, worship, and a sense of spiritual well being. The problem we face is that what we want most of all is buried in the chaos and fast pace of what has been made of the wonderful Nativity of Christ.
