Who and What is the Church
What is the church? Is it a place, a living entity, the body of believers? Is it one or all of those things? When we invite people to church, what are we inviting them to? Are we inviting them to be a part of our “group”, our denomination, our way of thinking, or are we inviting them to be a part of the body of Christ?
God’s Love and Grace
When it comes to portraying the human condition, the Bible can be quite somber and depressing as it describes the separation of man from God due to sin.
We Need God!
We can look at our current political landscape, situations at work and family, and any other areas of our life and become overwhelmed with what is going on. In situations that are out of our control to do anything about it seems like the only thing we can do is give up and be consumed by the impending discouragement and doubt.
