Caution Against Spiritual Drifting.
Disregard for God's Word, prayer, and corporate worship. These are the tools that Christ has given His church in order for them to be rooted in the truth and mature spiritually.
Love and Pursuit of God.
As with pursuing the Lord, it's an ongoing effort to get to know Him better and better follow Him. In order to spend time with God, one must be willing to put aside time for it. Cultivate a desire to get rid of anything that might get in the way of our growing closer to God.
A Strong and Growing Faith.
A single act of faith isn't all it takes to bring us to salvation. But other Christians never develop beyond this early stage of faith. Our connection with God, on the other hand, should be growing.
